The annual event, which recognizes outstanding work by Nigerian music
talents and rewards them in grand style, is expected to attract the
crème de la crème of Nigeria’s entertainment industry including
superstar musicians, A-list Nollywood artistes, media personalities and
many others.
In a statement, the organiser Ayo Animashaun said: “This
year, only music released between July 2014 and June 2015 was eligible
for nomination. To view the nominees and to vote for your favourite
talents in the respective voting categories, visit www.theheadies.com to increase their chances of going home with the highly coveted 21-karat gold-plated Headies plaque.”The 2014 edition was held at the expo centre of the Eko Hotel and Suites.
